Kyudo, the Japanese martial art of archery, emphasises the Spirit as much as the Body, featuring a distinctive asymmetrical longbow.

Sessions at North Melbourne Recreation Centre are run by Odoguma Kyudo Melbourne (OKM), a not-for-profit dedicated to practising and promoting Kyudo. With respect for both Japanese and Australian cultures, we passionately share this art with the public.

Beginners must complete OKM’s introductory course, designed to teach Kyudo basics in a welcoming environment. If you have prior experience, contact OKM via email to discuss your background and next steps.
